I-66 Transfer Station Operations Center

The building was designed to replace a set of temporary facilities on a major solid waste handling operation. The design addresses three major components: first, the building is sited on an abandoned landfill which required careful consideration be paid to the building's foundation. Second, the environment surrounding the building is of a rough industrial nature and third, the client's requirement for the different working aspects of the building.
