Temple Rodef Shalom Library
This small library was designed in conjunction with an addition to an existing synagogue. It was placed in a prominent position in the Grand Hall of the building and was made as transparent as possible in order to arouse interest. The room is zoned into adult and children’s sections and comfortable seating invites the library patron to read or work. The room is lit indirectly with reflected daylight which is supplemented with general lighting from above and task lighting at desks and chairs.
