Ritter Norton Architects is a small business with almost 45 years’ experience working with local, state and federal government clients. In recent years, the firm has focused extensively on the workplace renovation projects through various IDIQ contracts with GSA, DOS, and other secure federal agencies. We are currently helping multiple government clients redefine their post-pandemic design standards and policies for new hybrid workplace models. RNA has completed 500+ federal workplace projects including a wide range secure office renovations, operation centers, conference centers and VTC meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, food service facilities, and IT/data equipment spaces. The firm designs everything from very small office alterations to large scale projects with construction values over $100m.
Ritter Norton Architects has also developed numerous large scale federal master planning and feasibility study projects incorporating UFC Anti-terrorism standards and other security enhancements for secure federal compounds.
RNA also has extensive local government experience designing libraries, rec centers, office building, a transit facility, to name a few. The firm currently has a 5 year BOA contract with Fairfax County.
Though most of our government work has been done directly for our government clients in a design-bid-build process we have also teamed with various contractors to complete many design-build projects.
